Possible side effects

Temporary discomfort, Minor swelling or bruising Convalescence Patients should sit as little as possible for the first 72 hours after surgery and should lie face down or stand most of the time. They can start sitting down but by placing their weight on the back of their thighs rather than on the buttocks area. We may recommend special seating devices for the first 10 to 15 days after surgery. The patient should wear pressure garments and should not exercise or lift weights for several weeks.
